A mix of recordings made from an installation of 4 windharps I built for AVAMAA, the MoKS 2012 Summer art symposium in Mooste Estonia. The windharps were built from wood, nylon strings and resonators of metal cans and plastic cups.

Three spring recordings made in southeast Estonia at different nature reserve areas, May 2011. All are about 3 minute excerpts of much longer recordings. Locations and times are as follows:
- May 15th, 3:00am - Emajõgi Suursoo (river delta reserve)
- May 21st, 3:00 am - Meelva järv (lake, pictured)
- May 29th, 2:00am - Räpina polder (reclaimed lakeside preserve)
As you can hear, there is a wide variety of wildlife, primarily birds but also frogs and insects.

Riga Sound Locations (Rīgas Skaņu Vietas) was a workshop conducted from August 14-16th 2007 at various sites around Riga Latvia and was organized by Maksims Shentelevs and John Grzinich. The aim of the workshop was to visit 6 different locations around the city in order to investigate site-specific sound activity related to each place. participants included: John Grzinich, Toomas Thetloff, Maksims Šenteļevs, Jēkabs Nīmanis, Kaspars Kalniņš, Gints Birznieks, Ivars Šmits, Jānis Biķis, Kaspars Groševs, Patrick McGinley, Johanna Lonka.

A composite of 7 different recordings from 7 different spaces in the former Quelle building in Nuremberg Germany. A simple action by 4 participants was made in each space. The sound is from 4 metal trash bins found in the building. The bin was dragged slowly across the floor from one corner to the next. This was part of a Tuned City workshop called “sounds of muggenhof” held April 11-17th. http://www.tunedcity.net
